Stargazing for kids
Have you always wanted to look at the stars through a real telescope? You can do this at the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy!
On Friday, January 26, we are organizing a stargazing night especially for kids! Dr. Jason Hessels will talk about radio telescopes and after that we will do fun star stuff, such as looking at the stars through our telescope!
Of course, we can only look at the stars if the weather is nice. In case of bad weather, the stargazing is replaced by a (almost equally as cool) tour through the domes.
The admission is free, but registration is mandatory and can only be done via the application form on this website. Registration starts a week before the event. This night will be in Dutch and is for children (and their parents).
