The Bachelor programme Physics and Astronomy is taught by staff of the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy, the Institute of Physics, and the Kortweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics. 
UvA bachelor students perform their first astronomical observations on the roof
The first year astronomy practice, where students get their first experience in astronomical observation.

The majority of courses are in Dutch, while some are in English. More information can be found by following the link given below.

Part of the teaching staff is also associated with the Liberal Arts and Sciences programme of the Amsterdam University College, taught in English.
