The API lunch talks are informal, weekly meetings held each Thursday, where scientists and students give a half hour overview of their work or a completely different topic (even non-scientific). These meetings are intended to inform and stimulate discussion about a topic, as well as:

  • Keep APIs up-to-date on each other’s work in an informal atmosphere.
  • Hear news and exchange ideas about interesting scientific topics.
  • Allow students to practice talks in front of a friendly audience.
