Stargazing night for kids

25Jan2019 19:00 - 22:00

Event

On Friday, January 25, we are organizing a stargazing night especially for kids! Dr. Jason Hessels will talk about radio telescopes and after that we will do fun star stuff, such as looking at the stars through our telescope! Of course, we can only look at the stars if the weather is nice. In case of bad weather, the stargazing is replaced by a (almost equally as cool) tour through the domes. The admission is free, but registration is mandatory and can only be done via the application form on this website. Registration starts a week before the event. This night will be in Dutch and is for children (and their parents).

Tour through the domes: PhD student Jakob explains the inner workings of the telescopes.
