Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 crisis, we are forced to cancel this event The Anton Pannekoek Institute joins the Nacht van de Nacht (the night of darkness), a shared initiative by the Dutch environmental organizations to point the attention to light pollution. This night, you can visit the domes every hour, accompanied by one of our professional astronomers. Some of these visits will be in English, some in Dutch.

The Night of the Night logo

There are one-hour visits to the domes from 20:00 until 0:00. If the weather is good, we will show you some highlights of the autumn night sky through the telescopes. If the weather is bad, there are tours through the domes, where we explain how the telescopes work and how we use them for education and research.

The admission is free and registration starts the Friday a week before the event via the link below, in this case on October 16. Note that registration is not required anymore. If you register, you are guaranteed admission, but you may also choose to come to Science Park in person to see if any free slots have opened.
