Applied data science and computational astrophysics
The rapid increase in size of complexity of modern data sets has led to significant changes in how the field of astronomy approaches research. Similarly, the increase of computational capacities has led to the development of extremely sophisticated, information-rich numerical simulations across all subfields of astronomy. This section focuses on developing and applying modern data-science techniques and simulations to answer a broad scope of astrophysical research questions.
