To advance our mission, the API EDIC will strive to:
Serve as an educational resource on diversity issues for the API.
Make recommendations on best practices in hiring and retention for the API.
Raise awareness of diversity issues and best practices for creating and maintaining an inclusive environment within the API
Support students, staff, and faculty who are struggling with diversity issues by referring them to appropriate third-party resources
Provide consultation for the API Director on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion
